Fast & Yummy! Gluten free to boot! Nov 10, 2008 Having two kids with special dietary needs makes cooking dinner a bit of a challenge. This is a wonderful product on nights when everyone is hungry and short on time.

I wish it were less expensive Jul 06, 2008 This would be a staple in my diet if it were more affordable. I can do so much with it, but my favorite is to nuke it as described, then throw it in a frying pan with sesame oil, Bragg - Bragg Liquid Aminos, 32 fl oz, garlic, half a can of greens (turnip, spinach or collard) and an egg for chicken-less chicken friend rice.

Great quick brown rice side dish Nov 15, 2007 I was so pleased to find Lundberg Rice Express. First off, I love that it is brown rice! Its quick and easy. We really like the Sesame Teriyaki best but the chicken herb is a great base for any meal. It has enough flavor to make it interesting without overpowering any other flavors you choose to add. Very complimentary with just about everything. I've poured some Tasty Bite Indian vegetable pouches over this rice and the taste and texture of the rice was great with the spicy sauce. I've added some steamed veggies, can chicken, and shredded cheese for an instant casserole. Really a great item to have on hand since you don't have to bother with boiling water in a pan, or even using a bowl to make your rice. All of the ingredients are wholesome (unlike many packaged rices that contain MSG and other horrors) so you can enjoy this without hesitation.

Great Flavor and Versatile Item for Other Dishes Jul 12, 2007 I've just received my third case of this product. Each case, I've shared a few packages with friends and they've all enjoyed it. The rice is a brown rice and the grains are separate, the texture slightly dry. This makes the product perfect to use as a base for a stir-fry or adding canned chicken, veggies and a spoonful of butter (or Benecol) to blend the flavors. I use it like a GF Hamburger Helper. And I like it just by itself. The Santa Fe flavor is also GF and goes great with Amy's Enchiladas or as a Mexican style Hamburger Helper (it's flavorful but not hot-spicy).

Not the greatest taste Apr 27, 2007 Only buy this if you are used to eating brown rice. I bought a whole case of the beef and chicken and have only used one of each. I would've prefered to buy some Thai Kitchen gluten free rice based noodle pruducts that were gluten free. I guess I remember beef/chicken rice a roni that I can no longer eat and this was nothing similar. I was disappointed. I love so many Lundberg products:rice chips, rice cakes, syrup, dry rice, that it surprised me to find one I didn't like.
