I highly recommend these protein bars to anyone that needs a quality bar for snack. I have tried so many varieties and this is the best bar I have had. I like the fact that there is no "fake" chocolate on the outside. The texture is enjoyable and the bar is filling.

I rate the bar a 5. I love this bar. I discovered it at the LV Marathon in 2009.
I have it on subscribe and save. But the S&S price keeps going up! Not happy with that. It has gone up $3.23 for the box since I started 3 months ago. That a 15% increase. I will stop receiving it if it goes up again. I love the Super Protein Odwalla bar and it's much cheaper.

This bar is one of the better tasting bars for a Celiac who needs a verified GF product - most of the other protein bars that I have used in the past always gave me that "vitamin" taste + the indigestion that follows. For a young 66 yr.old guy, I'm an avid hiker and flyfisherman so I need something small/easy for nutrition or a pick-me up when I'm out in the "wild" for a shorter time (2-3 hours) and don't want to lug a bunch of food along.
These bars fill the bill - I bought 3 different kinds and they were all pretty good.
My wife has started using my bars in favor of her Snickers Marathon bar.
For the money, this bar provides you with a good value when bought in bulk.
They don't melt but you do need some liquid to wash them down.

I have no problems with wheat or anything else. I got these bars simply because I felt they were a healthy snack to incorporate into my diet. Well in terms of taste I'd say they are really good. Granted you have to understand when I say really good, I mean considering the type of bars that they are. They did taste similar to store brought ready to eat brownies. So I'd wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone who needs to avoid gluten, or just wants a healthy eating alternative.
